Providing a quality learning environment for children from 9 months until 6 years, Little Sprouts Montessori Preschool is open from 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. Offering 20 hours of free education for children from three years and up – we are a small family centre with a strong focus on being part of our local community.

We have two classrooms with purposeful materials designed for each of the age groups which have been carefully curated in line with the Montessori teaching method. Each class follows their own level of development and then has time together. This is a valuable opportunity for children to share experiences and teach each other just as they would in a home environment. The older children learn compassion and caring for younger children and the younger children benefit by having older role models to learn from.

Our outside garden makes full use of the natural environment. It includes trees for shade and climbing and equipment that fosters the development of gross motor skills.

Each day at Little Sprouts is structured following a routine with both inside and outside time and works on building different skills by offering a balance of activities. This structured time helps to prepare children for the daily routines of the school day. It makes the transition to school an easy process giving them the best possible start on their educational journey.
